I'm 46 and starting my 3 business so very little hunting for me this year--Covid gutted my last business to the tune of ....lets say a bunch...now I'm making it back...as I told my wife....last time I hope....I'm a serial entreprenur sooooo maybe not....

Rem 700 LSS in 243. First rifle I purchased and first deer taken with it. Second is custom 260 on rem 700 action. Picture is 3 shot group with it. Last is a sako vixen 222 rem. Have not hunted with it but plan to.

Man there is some really cool stuff in here. I'll play along as well.
These are my two most recent semi-customs that will both likely accompany me at some point this year:
The top one is a 280AI built on a TIKKA action with a 26" carbon six barrel sitting in an AG composites Alpine Hunter stock.
The bottom is a good ol 30-06 that I built off of an old Remington 700 that belonged to my grandfather. It has a 25" carbon six barrel and is sitting in a Grayboe Terrain stock.

This thread makes me drool. I just really like looking at rifles. Maybe one day I'll go the high end custom route. At this point I just sell a rifle and then buy a new one. Keeping it simple by covering the bases with calibers where I already have components. Here are my latest two. One reasonably light Browning 308 and one heavy Bergara 7mm rem mag. Both shoot better than I can (old eyes).

My go to rifle for anything over 100 lbs on four legs. My own custom action modeled after a remington 700, benchmark barrel, bell and carlson stock 7mm rem mag shooting 168 grain berger hvlds at 3100 fps. Currently wearing a vortex strike eagle 5-25x56 until I find a reason to change that, seriously undervalued scope.
