Let’s see your 300PRC groups!

Also,

Custom GA Precision built on a rem 700 stainless magnum action. Blue printed, nesika bolt stop, PTG thick lug, Manners PRS 1 adjustable carbon stock, Badger M5 bottom metal, Proof 24" 1:9 barrel.

Had issues so it sat in the back of the safe for years. Took it out and had another go a month before hunting season so I would have a lighter rifle.

I started stripping parts initially and found the scope base was loose. I was super angry, paid all that money and the front 2 screws were finger tight with no loctite. I went through and checked everything and took it to the range with a few rounds from my Masterpiece arms and it grouped up. So I bought some berger 245 eol, ran a seating depth test, reloaded the 39 cases with N570 for a ladder and then on the 3rd firing shot this. I ran out of time to do anything more before the season.

Dang! What was your velocity?

for that seating depth test which ran across 2 targets and 31 shots, 2839.7fps and an sd of 13.0fps. For the 16 shots within .003 seating of each other 2835.9 and sd of 9.2. It could definitely use work on the powder charge side. I never did get around to any powder testing.

muzzle brake groups were smaller, but I intended on hunting suppressed.

I was also a little recoil shy from shooting the MPA 300 without a brake. I've had a chest and shoulder reconstruction, and there is still a little hardware in the way. Shooting suppressed is WAY more recoil than the brake. I can shoot 80 shots over the brake with mild discomfort and no bruising. I did just that with the new barrel without issues.
