God that's fast! I was told to expext 2700-2800.I'm shooting the 350gr XLD's at 2,960fps, but so far only at targets with H4895. The same bullet shot with 120grs VOLUME of BH209 won 1st place for me at the inaugural Long Range Match at Camp Atterbury. 800, 900 and 1,000yds.
Man are these rifles accurate.......
Be safe.
Jeff is pretty slick with any build he does. Whether it's smokeless or centerfire.Hey, folks! Just got my first smokeless muzzleloader into action today (100 yard sight-in) and since the season is upon us I thought it would be cool to start a 'smokeless thread'. SO, LET'S SEE THOSE BUILDS ! Mine is a Jeff Hankins conversion from CVA Scout .45-70 to smokeless muzzleloader sporting Leupold Back Country rings and a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 (thanks @muskieman223 ). Stock and fore-end custom Cerakote in Kryptek by 'Ricco' at Black Dove Customs here in Kentucky and the Kydex cheek rest is from 'Matthew's Fabrication'.
For now I'm shooting Fury 275 grain Star Tip MZ's and 275 grain Star Tip MZ '2P's on top of 65 grains of IMR 4198 and a wool wad. Will update with target results as time permits. So, here's mine….Now, show me yours!!

I'm only familiar with his smokeless builds, but I'm sure you're right about centerfire as well.Jeff is pretty slick with any build he does. Whether it's smokeless or centerfire.

Picked up some of the Arrowheads 325's as well, what did you end up getting from Pittman? Lot's of choices to choose from on the site.I have 50 arrowhead xld bullets and h322 to start with but going to be grabbing pitman bullets as well.
I know not directed at me but pittman 303HC with 91gr of 10x get me 3100 fps. .2"Picked up some of the Arrowheads 325's as well, what did you end up getting from Pittman? Lot's of choices to choose from on the site.
I never did get the Pittman. I will at some point but have been playing with other builds in the mean timePicked up some of the Arrowheads 325's as well, what did you end up getting from Pittman? Lot's of choices to choose from on the site.
That's not the only BLUE one you have. lol. Very nice.Gave 'Ceruleus' a makeover. No more is it a Benchrest style rifle. Got rid of the McMillan 'Kestros' stock, the SEB 'Max' rest and the Nightforce Competition 15-55x52 scope. Instead we now wear a Stocky's EuroMatch stock, a Henry Remple bipod and a March-X 8-80x56 scope with MTR-4 reticle.
