Is 300 SAUM dead?

I am having a 300 Saum built for my daughter. She already has a custom 7 Saum.

Both great calibers, I bought brass in both calibers, early on, then takeoff barrels when everyone was selling them for cheap.
I want to build a switch barrel rifle. I shoot a 300 SAUM. My only regret I did not buy much factory ammo.

If you are asking me, I haven't chambered the barrel yet. If I recall Quickload predicted 2900'ish.
