I will not be getting 'the vaccine'...

Except what you wrote is factually incorrect. It does not "change your RNA", and RNA is not the "operations manual for our DNA". Protein machinery reads the hard code in DNA and makes mRNA. More protein machinery takes that m(essage)RNA and translates that code into a protein sequence.

A vaccine presents an antigen in the body in a way that doesn't require having the harmful, intact pathogen there so the immune system ramps up to recognize and attach the actual pathogen if it later sees it. An mRNA vaccine simple uses the protein machinery in the cell to make a short, inactive part of a viral protein so the immune system can see it and be trained against it.

This is a bona fide vaccine, it does not change DNA, or "change your RNA". But I'm just a molecular biologist with 20 years experience and have directly worked with this technology. Who am I to question random unverified YouTube videos...people seem to just pick the ones that validate their opinion and run with it these days...

Thank you for your chiming in here, @ATH

I appreciate your effort to set the record straight.

I understand the RNA fragment known as the 'antigen' is encased in lipid nanoparticles. Could you demystify what lipid nanoparticles means for we neophytes?

As a professional in the field, what do you make of Dr. Cahill's comments?

Wutevver.

I got the shingrix too. I know people who who had shingles and they were absolutely miserable. I have a wife who is somewhat vulnerable so the last thing need is to drag some chit virus home. With spinal stenosis and a couple other things to deal with I don't need any other complications.

I'm not chompin at the bit, emailin, calling, etc. to get the shot. When the time comes I'll get it.
I had shingles . The worse case my dr had seen at the time . Full on wrap around at the bottom 3 ribs on my right side . Solid blisters on top of blisters . Had pain in the area 2 weeks before the first blister, for 2 months of the blisters , and for a year after the blisters. Life goes on. I have mild copd , as in, i dont take meds or oxygen for it. Life goes on. I have chronic degenerative disc disease and athritis that puts me DOWN everytime it rains. Life goes on. People are hypochondriacs these days ! We live , we have pain, and eventually die. Doctors practice medicine . Practice is the key word. Try to play God . The more we dive into the human body in an attempt to extend life , the more we monkey up the works . You get a shot for everything you want to and hope for the best . Just ask yourself one question for me ......why do you trust anything funded by Bill Gates for a vaccine to prolong life when he is one of, if not the biggest proponent of reducing the human.population ? ,.

The reaserching I have done around the world has caused me to invest in Ivermectin. Safely used around the world on people and pets for parasites for 40 years. Numerous studies have shown that if in the system when a virus is incountered it will PREVENT the virus from replicating. Recommended dosage for mine is 1 ml for every 22 pounds of body weight, every 28 or so days. It is also being used as treatment for covid after contracting but I was always taught an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! In many countries it is over the counter like Hydroxychloroquine but in this country EVERYTHING is prescription thanks to big Pharmaceutical companies. Or maybe it's the FDA, either way it bites!!! I bought Ivermax which is used for cattle, you pour it down their back once a month to prevent parasites and it absorbs through the skin. I figure if it will go through cow hide it will go through mine! I put it into my hand lotion, I Don't like pills or shots! I checked on the purity of medicine for animals vs people and found both are the same purity. I suggest everyone do their own reasearch and not take what I'm doing as a prescription for you. In the summer I plan on rubbing it on my legs to prevent ticks and chiggers. I'll let you know how that works out around August.
This just makes me cringe. I tried early in my career, something like 40 years ago , to convince clients and folks I knew not to use biologics they had in their inventory of "vet drugs". It was to no avail. Two of them died due to anaphylaxis using procaine pen-G.
I will not attempt to convince this poster the folly of their ways. But, maybe there's other forum members that will read my post. Please don't do this.

Once again, Mr Skills (lol) you bring clarity to those that don't know what to brlieve. Im thankful that other countries aren't so blockaded from reality like we are here in the USA.

Chirp, chirp, chirp.........;)

A couple synopses for anyone that is interested. Obviously, some on here aren't. Watch if you want. Don't if you don't. They are lengthy but informative if you have the time. If you've been wondering how these vaccines work, their safety profile, how they became available so quickly in relation to other more historical vaccines, and their potential for lasting immunity these videos explain them well.

Why do you think someone in their 40s was a permanent resident of a long term care facility? Short answer, it's not because they are the epitome of health.

I'm 71 years old and to my knowledge have never had a flu shot in my life, unless they were induced in the cocktails I received in the military. Having considerable knowledge in genetics, one needs to keep in mind that these vaccines are strain specific and may or may not affect even a slight mutation, (which often occurs rapidly), of the virus's genetic code. That is simple evolution! Virus's and bacteria mutate rapidly to adjust and evolve. Don't get me wrong about vaccinations though, like Polio, measles, and other diseases that pose problems for children. I just can't see taking a vaccine for the common flu, and yes COVID is a common flu virus with many strains. All said though, I do live a secluded life in deep Southern Illinois. So secluded that cell phone reception is poor at best and frequently non-existent. So live healthy and spend time on those hunts and enjoy life. God Bless.

Watch the videos I posted. They address the points that you brought up. It depends on the virus, how they mutate, what the vaccine/antibody target is, etc.
