I’m Convinced. No Lead Bullets for Game

  • Man-Made Toxins: More than 2,500 chemical substances are intentionally added to foods to modify flavor, color, stability, texture, or cost. Additionally, an estimated 12,000 substances may unintentionally enter the food supply through food-packaging materials, processing aids, pesticide residues, and drugs given to animals.
  • Food Processing and Packaging: A new study found that more than 3,600 chemicals that leach into food during manufacturing, processing, packaging, and storage end up in the human body. Seventy-nine of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, genetic mutations, endocrine and reproductive issues, and other health concerns.
But lets not eat game that was killed with lead bullets.

I've shot my share of mono's but they do less damage and result in slower deaths longer blood trails which if your out west might not be a big deal. Down here it might mean your deer runs off your property or in a swamp or pine thicket.
A big AMEN to this!

I think that you should pay more attention to the additive that you put in your coffee vs a lead or Mono bullet, not to mention the amount of sugar or sodium in your diet.

The USA buying all it's lead from Mexico and China is a problem for our National Security, commie rats are sneaky bastards.

Game has been shot using lead for generations without any issues. Now it's a problem?
Glad most of the country is free enough to let me choose.
Agreed!

This is a fact with plenty of empirical evidences. I have seen plenty of risk factors/ possible health issues (mostly from anti-lead, political, environmental groups) but I have yet to find empirical evidence causing human death by lead bullet poisoning ingested from wild games.

The only lead poisoning I have seen that was fatal was lead intoxication (saturnism) due to lead bullets lodged in human body.

That's the beauty of still having the freedom of choice here in the US. I use them too as an alternative, but not my preference.

IBTL!

If your concerned about extra metals in your food, stop getting unnecessary vaccines. The most up to date vaccine recommendations for today's children is in the hundreds. Parents who choose to follow the doctors orders are putting money in everyone who promotes said vaccine all the while slowly harming & or killing their own child. Put that in your pipe & smoke it….parents harming their own children because they are loyal to doctors who promote big pharma for their own personal gain.

When you bring down the copper to lead prices and never buy copper from countries who want to destroy America because most copper comes from outside the United States, I might consider buying a few mono's other than that forget it. Lead works and always will. the combination of lead and a copper jacket is best for the U.S.A - it outperforms mono's on all game. Only for military large calibers like 50 and up does copper perform well with great results every time.
