Hunting Scope choose

I love my MOAR reticle too. The ATACR is more compact and lighter than the NSX. It also has better glass. If I had 2k+ to spend on a scope that's what I would have went with. I had half that and went with the SHV.
How would the ATACR compare with a VX5 hd or VX6 hd, in low light?

Just looked through a z8i. Think I may of found my new scope! Wow, 2.3-18x56 just over 20 ounces.

The wind has been let out of my sail. Z8i has mill elevation compensation with a moa reticle! Why would someone design such a system??? Will not work for me. That being said, probably the nicest glass I have looked through. What a let down. Back to the drawling board.

I've been incredibly happy with my VX-6's in 3-18x50 and 4-24x52.

I also came across a VX-7 that I run on one of my .260's that is great glass and with the 56mm obj the low light performance is excellent which is important since I shoot a lot of hogs and coyotes in low light or at night. Even with just a flashlight I'm good to 250 yards or more with it.

The z8i is fantastic in low light. It beat the Swarovski z5 5-25X52, Leupold VX-6 4-24X52, and the Bushnell 6500 4 1/2-30X50 in low light by twenty minutes! Those scopes are very nice but are in a lower league. They cost $1,500 less as far as the VX-6 and z5 go. The the Bushnell is $2,300 less.

What is crazy, I went to the only three places I know of in Orlando, that I thought would carry high end scopes. Could not put my hands on a atacr or vx6i.

This should help
