Running the 147Gr ELDM @2710 with 43.6 Staball in 6.5CM. 8.5 twist 24" barrel.

That's close to my load. What barrel, brass, and primers? I'm using a factory Tikka 24", starline SRP, and rem 7 1/2. Getting slight cratering at 43.5gr, but I think it's likely a primer fit and firing pin deal. Going to test the same load with cci450 this week to see if it is the same or better

It ( StaBall 65 ) was Designed FOR, the 6.5 CREEDMOOR and,.. 140- 143's !!

After disappointing results in my 7-08 with staball 6.5 I took your advice here and gave it a go in my 6.5 creedmoor with 140 eldm.
It works wonderfully in the creedmoor

I tried SB 6.5 in my .243. Took the first shot,and immediately jacked the brass out and checked for pressure signs. It SOUNDED different. There were no pressure signs. I was at a middle of the road load and 100 FPS above a maxed out load from my previous powder. Accuracy was splendid and low SD/ES what more can you ask for?
