How 'bout scopes that disappointed?

Maybe he never had a Tasco World Class. To me they are the best scope value on the market. That's all I used to use even when I could afford more expensive. To many failures by "better" brands.

Cool post revival!
I have moved on from many scopes, there was only one I wanted to re-enact the scene from Sniper where a bullet went through the scope.
Burris XTR II, after 2 yrs being scope of the yr, I made the mistake.

Sadly l think Bushnell and Burris both got bought out by Vista 0utdoors.. Lots of their scopes discontinued.. Esp handgun scopes

I had a vortex crap out--viper 6.5-20.
I owned 2 Nightforce NXS that while good scopes...I was unimpressed with glass quality and fit and finish for the price paid.

I had a Bushnell DMR fail--but man I used the hell out of the scope....twisted and turned the hell out of it...they replaced it with a brand new DMR II with no qualm...I own 5 other Bushnell tactical elites....but did have the one fail.

I had a couple Leupolds which were nightmares. Key word "Had".
Tracking a big issue for me with them.

Have had great luck with elite 4500's and Zeiss my two favorite brands at this point, sent a sightron III back that wouldn't focus. Had crosshairs fall out of two redfields :(.

Swaro makes a good bright scope. One zeiss developed parallax, sent it back they replaced the erector and its been fine for quite a few years now. Not bad for all the years I've hunted and target shot.
