I have a couple boxes of those. I actually prefer 255 grain WFN hard cast. But thanks Tony.

I am underwhelmed. Killed 2 brown bears with my handguns. One charging at 20 yds. with a 285 gr. Speer GrandSlam in a .375 JDJ Contender. Shot him at the neck/body junction. Dropped.
Second- 125 yds., .500 Mag. Taurus Raging Bull, 375 gr. X. Double shoulder. Dropped.
500 gr. bullets create a lot of recoil that most people can't handle & make follow up shots very difficult. 325 & 375 gr. Xs seems better in the .500.
When in dangerous game country I rely on my FA .475 Linebaugh with 275 Xs & 350 gr. SWCs.

Funny, I shoot plenty of hardcast bullets and have never noticed or jad issues with "a cloud of lead dust" --- I'll stick with my wfn bullets
