Help Needed for Infrared Rifle Scope

For your price range you are gonna be very hard to beat the Burris.
I have several thermals and one thing I can say is stay away from atn. They are total garbage. Had one and it went down the road. Pulsar makes great stuff but nothing in your price range hand with the Burris bang for buck. I can easily see things are very long distances well over 800. Now identifying them with any thermal at that range can be tough. Elk yes fairly easy separating pigs from axis, sika at at that range not so much. Don't waste your time on the clip on ones in front of scope. Yes they work but not nearly as well as a dedicated scope. I have the Burris clip on also. So for your budget your first choice would be the correct one the Burris.

I have mine still and still use it a lot. Very user friendly. My pulsar you have to kinda remember how the menu works if you don't use it for a while. Burris is a very simple dial knob system. Pick it up a year after last use and you know how to scroll through. Pulsar take a bit of searching the buttons a bit.
