So ok if on top of case of rum?
Everything is ok on top of a case of rum!

Bean, I am building a 25 Needmore. Am I still ok? Lol Going to need advice for the 121. I have RL16, H4350 and RL26 that I am thinking of trying.
This is a slippery slope and I'm going to be anxiously awaiting for Beans answer. You know how he loves the quarter bores, but it has a Needmore parent case. I think Bean will be in a bit of a quandary with this one :D

I know. That's why I posted it. Let's see if he still helps me out. 🤣

Finally got my latest (and last for a while) build. 6.5-284. Cant wait to start playing with it and the 124s.
I'll be following you on this one. I used H4831 with my last 2 barrels, but going to try N560 due to the velocity HardRock got with his PRC. I'm anxiously awaiting my new barrel to be chambered and installed

You won't be disappointed with N560 , it works well for me.

Get some good brass LAPUA ETC , NOSLER brass will not let you reach your potential it is too soft I use 6.5 lapua brass for my 6.5 284s and my 25 -284 and haven't lost a primer pocket yet and I load hot. Be safe start low and work up , good luck with your new build.

I assume anyone shooting a six five caliber is wearin lacy drawers.
And if said six five owns the title "creedmoor", then the undies bound to be edible.

The only instance that this MAY not be written in stone, is if the six five pill is atop a RUM case.
Those long 6.5 bullets defy the laws of physics, especially when the bullet box says HAMMER

I picked up some Peterson brass for my new 6.5 RPM and some 99 & 124 Hammer Hunters. I decided to load up some 99's first. Didn't have much time so only tried a couple charges and powders. These are the first firings, barrel not broken in. Weatherby Backcountry 24".

Started with H1000 and Fed 215's
70gr = 3374
71gr = 3436

Then tried 7828SSC and 215's
68gr = 3583
69gr = 3642
70gr = 3731
71gr = 3726

No bolt lift or smears on any. Just some fine ejector marks on all. Thinking that's just an edge/burr around hole.

Will pick up where I left off and go until I reach pressure. I could also seat out a little further. I seated to 3.272" at first band.

I have some H4831SC, H4350, and H100V I was thinking about trying for faster powders.
