Anyone play with VihtaVuoir N-570 with the 124 gr, Hammers Hunter bullets yet? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Should say with a 6.5 X .284 Norma ThanksAnyone play with VihtaVuoir N-570 with the 124 gr, Hammers Hunter bullets yet? Any feedback would be appreciated.
No but have a good load on the 121 gr hammer with n165 6.5-284 1-9 twist 25 in at 3229 57 grs Lapua brassShould say with a 6.5 X .284 Norma Thanks
In my opinion N165 or N560 would be better choices if you have those powders N 570 is a little slow for that case fill for max velNo but have a good load on the 121 gr hammer with n165 6.5-284 1-9 twist 25 in at 3229 57 grs Lapua brassI In my opinion N570 is a little slow N560 will work or N165

Some of the guys are getting crazy fast velocities with the 124 and N560 in the PRC. Can't see why that wouldn't work equally as well in the 6.5-284. I was getting mid 3200's with the 124 and H4831. I dropped down bullet weight to the 109 Absolute Hammer. Getting 3511 fps with HV100. This is a laser beam of death and worked really well on a pronghorn hunt this season.Try hanks for your N165 recommendation
I think you'd be better off with RL16 or H4350. StaBall may get you more velocity. Varget would be another one I'd use.Would you try n560 in a 6.5creed with the 124s? Or stick with rl16?
Skip the Campfire Starter.......................... just my 2 penniesI think you'd be better off with RL16 or H4350. StaBall may get you more velocity. Varget would be another one I'd use.
I am ashamed to admit that I don't speak enough powder slang to know what campfire starter meansSkip the Campfire Starter.......................... just my 2 pennies
It's an inside joke between Bean and I. He purchased some StaBall and found that it worked better as a campfire starter than it did in his rifle. Now, I've had it work well with the 120 HH in my 280 AI, so I'm not starting any campfires with it in the near future.I am ashamed to admit that I don't speak enough powder slang to know what campfire starter means
My wild guess of reloading powder lingo means too slowIt's an inside joke between Bean and I. He purchased some StaBall and found that it worked better as a campfire starter than it did in his rifle. N560 will be my next load work up with the 123 gr absolute hammer in the 6.5 prc I run out of powder space with N165 at 3450 plus my data is posted I expect 3500 with the added go juice in the N560 when I start load work up it will be posted I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised N560 is or was used in Norma factory loadings for the 6.5 Swede from info I've read N165 has worked really well for me in several 6.5 cartridges I'm sure N560 will yield more vel but burns a lot hotter at the throatSome of the guys are getting crazy fast velocities with the 124 and N560 in the PRC.
