Hammer bullets WTH

Hammer bullets are tested by lots of people. There is a guy in Australia that shot hundreds and hundreds of animals and verifies them. He dissects them basically. He isn't sponsored, just a good guy helping them from what I hear at my gunrange. So hopefully it was maybe just a wrong combination?

That would be Fordy and he's already commented, as far as the HHT goes I'm not a fan of them at all

Here's some food for thought
When this manufacturer was asked (by me in email form) what the QC process is for incoming raw stock?
Is it checked for hardness? Is it checked for alloy content? Is each size checked? What is the process?
Is there a process between materials suppliers and manufacturers ( ie, with steel suppliers there are grade and heat numbers for each item) .

Yes I have seen and had issues and it is why I asked

FYSA! I do not know if you saw it, but an LRH member does this type of national testing for a living for the metal industry. A few years ago, he did a purity test (among other things) for me. I posted his test result here; when I locate it, I will share it unless it was deleted.

I love the hammer line of bullets I use then in a 7 saum 6.5 cm and a 7tcu and now a 300 ultra with devastating results

yes I've been hunting all day and I'm not sitting in front of a screen judging things that I know nothing about like many. If you didn't marry your high school sweetheart there's probably 4 or 5 guys who didn't like your wife.
If you have not killed anything with these bullets PM each other please.
So far I've been very disappointed in these bullets. I'm not a copper fan but these grouped the best at 1000 than any others I had shot. I know the guys who build these bullets have thousands of rounds and hours in them . They hit where I aimed and they blew straight through with a pretty big exit wound.if that's what they are supposed to do great .
Just nothing fell dead like I'm use to.
I knew most would not agree but it reminded me the first time I walked through the cow pasture with my dad and he said don't kick the wet ones he was right . Thanks have a good evening!

Ok got it. So the bullet went in. Opened up. And came out with damage in between.
But they didn't fall over dead?

I'm sure they do have a system. Because I remember at one time they were asking for someone to haul some return material that was not soft enough for them. Not sure what it is but they must have something

Never used the Hammer bullets, but seems like thay did a good job for you.
What's not to like? I killed a hundred or so deer size critters with different bullets, only had a half dozen bang flops and that was with Bergers around the 300 yd mark.

If you were running a business and a total stranger asked how to you process your raw materials to achieve the end product I'm sure you would send them that information ASAP.

1) What kind of internal damage did you observe in the animal? (If they hit where you aimed and there was a pretty big exit wound, it's reasonable to suspect there was pretty good internal damage)

2) What is your definition of "fell dead like I'm used to"?
