Frustrated finding primers

I haven't bought primers from online vendors because of the hazmat fees. I'm in a position where I don't have to and feel lucky for the opportunity. I'm glad to see prices become more stable and reasonable, along with the supply side stability.

Not to be negative or pessimistic, but it seems very convenient to use the world turmoil to limit supply and drive up prices. Not just with primers but also powder. Hard to exercise your 2nd rights if you can't afford to exercise it.

Just venting. Twice, I got email messages from Midway informing me that they had Federal Gold Medal large rifle primers available. Both times, I was at work when I received the email. By the time I get home and go to purchase them, they are sold out already. This time, it was only a half day. What are you supposed to do?
Check you email 📧 on your phone 📱?

Just got this notification from Brownells if anyone is in need.

Do you ever make it to the SW side of PA?

Primers are popping up more lately around here. As others have offered, if you do travel this way, I could get a brick for you.
Thanks for offering. I appreciate your willingness to help. I'm from Union county so that's a little further than I want to drive. I think I am going to wait and see if some of my local shops start to get inventory in. I'm not in a hurry. I actually have enough CCI primers. I just wanted to experiment with the Gold Medal and see if I could see any difference in my groups. I was just frustrated that I was on Midway's waiting list and two times I was too late to respond. Then I got to checking the cost of Hazmat fees and shipping charges and came to conclusion it is best to wait and buy local.

Yea, I think I'm going to have to set up my online account with my cell phone. Another hurdle I got to get over at work is that they censor what sort of websites we may visit. Even if it is on our personal cell phone. I'm sure that you can guess that we can not visit anything related to firearms. There is a work-a-around though by logging off of the company's wi-fi and connecting via cellular service which in my area is slow. I usually only have one bar at work.
You can usually get around the corporate website restrictions by using VPN software on your device. Works for me. Costs $ tho but it's worth it IMO.
