bullets were the 55g Bergers. LR would not pick it up. Gave a error on Velocity or all shots would read 4KI second this...would love to hear what velocity and what bullets.

Wow that's cooking. Did the Bergers stay together? Any of them come apart in the air?bullets were the 55g Bergers. LR would not pick it up. Gave a error on Velocity or all shots would read 4K
All stayed together. 8.5twist...I have used 11 twist for the 20 Practical with 32-40g bullets, 10 twist for my 20 BRA 40g and 8.5twist for the CM and GT loads with 55g.Wow that's cooking. Did the Bergers stay together? Any of them come apart in the air?

I just go 204RI looked at bunch of 20 cal wild cats. I decided on a 20 Practical. Glad I did too, easy to make cases and accurate as hell. My bud decided to go the VarTarg route. While I am crankin out ammo he's havin problins makin brass. 20 P is the easiest conversion out there.
Barrel dream not pipe dreamI have had bags of Winchester 204R brass on back order for 2 years.
Mike, what is your intended use of the new 20 pipe dream? Coyotes, p. dogs, paper, etc?
It takes speed to get those 55's to open up at a distance or just punch a hole, something to think about. A good friend got away from the 20 BR for coyotes due to gimpers, and this man can shoot like few can.
Is your 20PPC a gas gun?Barrel dream not pipe dream
I have a .20PPC that shoots 55's just fine. I'm on the road (NW NM) so I can't pull load data. The .20 Practical is a <cough> practical way to get something to spew out .20 caliber bullets with easy to find, common as dirt brass.
