The Apex 194 grain has the same BC as the 240 grain CEB. Notice the short ogive on the CEB. It's not a sleek bullet. You'd be able to drive the Apex way faster.

Don't use Berger's stability calculator for anything but burgers. Bergers don't have tips. Honestly, just don't use their calculator.

Both JBM and Berger's calculators show the same results for the 1:7" twist with the 240gr CEB Lazer: SG 1.65

This has me thinking of getting a 1:6" twist barrel for my 300 RUM to try 180gr to 240gr mono's. And, see what it does with 250gr lead. At least 3,200 fps with 250gr would be great to try to get to.
I'm also curious to see how the CEB 240gr Lazer mono performs compared to the Berger 245gr and A-Tip 250gr at 1,000 yards and beyond.

You won't get to 3200 with a 250 or a 245 cup/core. Guys are struggling to get 2850 with a 300 RUM and that weight. Was just reading about struggles to get to 3000 FPS with the 230aTip. Good luck though!

They were using a 1:8" twist with 24" inch barrel. I'm trying to think what a 1:6" twist with a 28" to 30" inch barrel and at least 93gr charge would get.

Twist rate will not affect speed but some will argue that the faster the twist the more resistance driving the bullet forward resulting in a decrease of speed, I've never tested this though. Add 25fps for every inch in barrel length but….. eventually that falls off as well. You will probably/maybe get an extra 50-75fps for the length from 24-28 but who knows. Im out on this one.
Based on your original post you should already know what your rifle will do with the heavier cup/core pills. It will not be fast with the same weight mono. What's your recorded speeds with all the testing you mentioned in your OP?

995 yards showing 4'' vertical on 3 shot groups .5moa. 92.5gr N570. At around 93gr my groups started opening up.
This was after much testing. I started off with 83gr of N570 looking for pressure signs but, I wasn't happy with the results with velocity.
This is my first 300 RUM. I bought this rifle in early 2024 so I'm still working with it.

Perfect…… a mono of the same weight will be MUCH slower!!!! They are longer and you can't get as much powder in the cartridge.

Tumbling pills are a strange one as they give very erratic results terminally
Sometimes devastating then the other end of the ledger appears & one just never knows when & where it will occur good or bad
Me personally I try to avoid @ all costs a tumbling pill
Now monos on the whole can somewhat be helped by a quicker than recommended twist rate although I've noticed some companies are now giving a couple of twist rates as can c&c but more care needed on c&c imo
Design has come a longway & some very good designs
Straight line pills Mushroom pills are FOC with a good mushroom & good meplat shedding rely on a good meplat on the whole a bt wthile helps a little on FOC it's also dependent on a front wheel drive system ( yes meplat is critical for straight line all the way plus a good SF ) but calibre to length ratio & efficiency of a pills system also plays a role
Luckily we have most companies today researching& offering great advice on this very important topic
Good to see ceb going to discontinue that pill imo although quite Texan disagrees which is cool
