The Apex 194 grain has the same BC as the 240 grain CEB. Notice the short ogive on the CEB. It's not a sleek bullet. You'd be able to drive the Apex way faster.

This has me thinking of getting a 1:6" twist barrel for my 300 RUM to try 180gr to 240gr mono's. And, see what it does with 250gr lead. At least 3,200 fps with 250gr would be great to try to get to.Go for it. Will be a learning experience one way or another for sure.
