Frustrated with new 28 Nosler

I have tested the 162,175x with h1000 and 180m with r33. Good accuracy from the 175x and great performance on elk and deer. 180m great for mulies, no elk. 195 were far more accurate

don't discount the 175 elite hunter with r33. Built a 28 this month and did load development this week for it and they shot extremely well.

Hey @Mram10us thats my load!! It's in a fierce fury that I switched to from the 175 eldx. I was shooting around .3" @ 100 yds and wanted to try these Berger 175 EH loaded up a few and shot a .25" at 200 yds twice. My 12 yo son took it on a State eradication feral cattle hunt and head shot a beautiful cow @ 231 yds. Tons of meat. He took 5 bullets and only took 1 shot, very impressed with the 175 elite hunters!!

going to try ladder test this weakend hopefully. If work allows. I only have RL33, US869, N217, or ramshot magnum to choose from. No retumbo or H1000 within a 100 miles.

Did you ever try the manufacturers load?

I have never built a 28 that the 175eh didnt shoot better than the 180vld. And the 180vld shoots great. Must be my reamer

I have used H1000, retumbo, rl26/33, n 565 and n570. I have settled on n570 with adg brass and Berger 195 red 215m.

I run them at about 3030fps. I have had it up to 3150 but I like the consistency of the slower speed

Whats your load data on the N570. I was using 78gr and didnt like it

Not with that load! Primer looks great and easy extraction could probably go harder but seems to be working well.

I started at 79 with no data other than my 180 vld that I had already worked up and went down from there. Let me know how it works out for ya. Mine likes the 195's

@Mram10us did you try the Berger 7mm 184 F-open for hunting? I bought a bunch by accident and just have them sitting, I actually forgot about them. Thanks
