Then I'm guessing I might need a little more than 20MOA.

Just how far down the wormhole "distance" do I want to go??

Would like to still be able to hunt with it.

Maybe I might be wanting to much from one setup?

you'll have 80 moa with that scope and a 20 MOA base.
I didn't run your numbers but about 60 MOA should get you to a mile, depending on your enviro's

Have the HMR-PRO In 300 WM. Had a break built, very little recoil!Target is a Small bore reduced for 50'. Shot @100 yds. Just breaking in the HMR-PRO. Less than 100. Rds down range! Way better now!

This setup is legal to hunt with, 13.5lbs fully loaded. Zero stop setup at 100yds, enough moa to go out to 2000yds.

Definitely zero at 100.
If you are planning on reloading for this rifle my advice would be sell that factory ammo and buy some good brass, that Hornady brass doesn't last.

Try setting up at 1000" Aprox 27yds. Set scope then set back at 100 Yds! Should be on Paper, fine tune! Should be somewhere about the same at 27 yds as at 100 yds.

There was a time when I did similar. I've become much better at bore sighting, the more you do it the better you get at it.

Another Montana welcome.
If it were me I would take this in stages and accomplish 500 yard consistant hits,then 600, all the way too 1000 yards first and get consistent hits.
After I have accomplished that then I would move on to longer distances.
1 mile is 1760 yards if I remember right.Take your time and you will meet your goals.
