First Shoot at a Mile

Alaskan mosquitoes are big enough, and thick enough ballistic calculators should have a separate column for those. Good luck with the elements.

i was thinking about this earlier. there was a big hatch of mayflies in a ditch in front of my target. so many that i could see them swarming. i did get a few fliers and i wondered if it wasn't because of the bugs. i was shooting a 7mm mag at 869 yards at a 10" plate.

insects are going to be on my "watch" list for a little while now because i had high confidence in some of the shots.

my neighbor is a big shot movie producer... i'm going to see if i can't borrow a high speed camera.
