Thank you for your reply.Nice looking gun, I've had a few Bergara rifles and they all have been outstanding shooters. You'll have a blast with that one. Keep us posted, thinking on getting a PRC.
I've been looking at the Hellfire.I love the area 419 one
Hellfire Self Timing Muzzle Brake
The HELLFIRE Self Timing Brake system was engineered from the ground up to reduce more recoil and muzzle flip, while being easier to install.www.area419.com

I have not use it. Pretty sure someone here hs experience with them.I've been looking at the Hellfire.
I will check out piercision rifles 5-port.

Welcome, I have an ERA Tac on mine set at 30, on top of a 20 moa rail, so I get full travel out of my scope. I also use 225 ELDM and H1000.New rifle in 300 PRC.
I just bought a Bergara Ridgeback in 300 PRC. Putting a Vortex Razor Gen III 6-36x56mm. Wanting to set it up for 1000+ yard shooting.
Any advice on mounting the scope?
Been reloading for decades and was wanting to know what bullets and powders I should focus on?
Thank you for the welcome.Welcome, I have an ERA Tac on mine set at 30, on top of a 20 moa rail, so I get full travel out of my scope. I also use 225 ELDM and H1000.
1 mile it depend's what bullet I'm using, 225g ELDM says I need 21.1 Mils (73.8 moa )of elevation, a 230G ATip 18.6 Mils. (65 moa)To convert mils to Moa multiply by 3.5 or divide by 3.5 find Moa. Hope this helps.Thank you for the welcome.
I was looking at a NIGHTFORCE A135 X-Treme Duty 1-Piece for HS 700 Long Action Guns 20 MOA with 8-40 Screws Steel Base.
Will that be enough to shoot 1 mile?
My shope will have 120 total moa. 60 up / 60 down.
Then I'm guessing I might need a little more than 20MOA.I have a 300PRC in Christensen Arms MPR with a NF NX8 4-32x50 F1. I have 110MOA on this setup, plenty of angle to reach out to a mile, and someday, I hope to reach out a little further.
