Favorite 44m scope 500 yards

I like my VX5HD 3-15x44 firedot. I have three of them!

Hi ,I Just mounted a new Leupold VX5 in 3X to 15 X with a 30mm main tube and lighted reticle, Zero Stop. on my Weatherby Ultra-Light , in 270 Win. Its on Leupold Standard Steel Bases and Medium 30mm Steel Leupold Rings. Sighted it on Monday at 100 yds and tomorrow will shoot it at 300 yds . So far so good!!

My father in-law has only uses Leupold for the last 30 + years but has been having holding zero issues with his newer scopes. I will wait to see if this issue is resolved before I give them a try. I hope they take care of him and confidence is restored.

My only 44 is a Zeiss conquest 4.5-14 with SFP Rapid Z 800 reticle. It's a straight up holdover hunting scope on a lightweight 7-08. Great glass, proper tracking, gives me hold solutions to that rifles effective range. I don't dial with it for conditions and it has no illumination. Only a 1" tube as well but it's a quality optic for this purpose.

My choice for best depends on what day it is.
