Bergara- I have handled quite a few of these in various calibers. All were built well and were extremely accurate. If iwas to buy a rifle today it would be a Bergars B 14 series.

Your got that right, we have four, 6.5 C, 6.5PRC, 22-250 that shoots way under 1" groups at 300 yds. they are very good, heard some have issues with the bolt handle breaking off the bolt, but we never have, Reload and most are set 40 tho off the lands. All are B-14 type with adjustable stock cheek piece.

It really depends on your application. If you are looking for a hunting rifle, I have never been more impressed with a factory hunting rifle than the Seekins PH. I have the PH2 but now there is the PH3.

Seekins less than 7lbs 22' barrel perfect for a can and factory ammo and they shoot!

They are made in idaho, maybe that's the issue. I bought mine through a local dealer. Sportsmans warehouse carries them as well.

Browning X Bolt Mountain Pro 20" suppressor ready. Buy a $12 MCarbo spring for the trigger and you have a very nice 2lb trigger. Gun weighs just over 5lbs, bare. Carbon fiber stick, comes already bedded. I have 4 of them and they all shoot well under 1 MOA no matter what ammo I've ran through them.

If it were me It would be another Springfield waypoint, I've got one in 6.5prc and it's a tack driver with factory ammo, so I'm hoping the 7prc would be the same and it's basically a custom gun but at a cheaper price, or if your more of a traditionalist you could buy the Springfield Boundry, that's got more of a traditional stock.

I've bought two from Eurooptic. I've seen Seekins at Scheels also.

im more "budget" minded
im looking at the howa 1500s or the CVA cascade(uses bergara barrels)
i also am partial to weatherbys. i usually cant afford mark v's but like the vanguards and they are a howa action. its just less easy to find a threaded/braked barrel.

I've had great luck with xbolt mountain pros. A long range Mountain pro in 6.8 Western 26 inch and a seven PRC in the SPR 20 inch. Both are quarter minute rifles out of the box with factory ammo. The federal fusion Tipped below in the 7PRC. I do hand load and haven't worked one up for this rifle yet. The one shot hole is 3 in one after coming back from a Washington to adjust new atmospheric zero. Cold bore shot seams to be faster for some reason and es of that is pretty good compared to warmed up 5 shot group. It also shoots the federal eldx loads 1/2 minute or so 5 shot groups.

I picked up a deal on a Ruger American go wild in 7PRC and it shoots 3/4 MOA with the factory rounds. I had to relieve some pressure points in the channel. Stock is stiff/hard. Impulse buy to have a 7PRC but makes me wonder; how well can I get it to shoot?

I bought the same Ruger and it shoots amazing

I have a Fierce MTN Reaper 22" barrel and it's been a great rifle. I killed a 5x5 this year at 505 yards in a 2moa wind with 180gr bergers. I hit him twice, 2nd shot wasn't needed but with snow coming, I did it anyway. He tipped over at 50 yards.
My customer/friend has the same rifle but in a 20" barrel. He's shooting the 195's and they're both tac drivers.
