factory 7mm prc rifle

I think it really depends on your budget? The best bang for your buck would probably be Tikka or a browning xbolt. They usually shoot well. My son has a begara premier in 6.5 PRC. It was kinda picky, but got it to shoot 156 grain bergers well.

what would be your pick if buying a factory 7mm prc rifle and why that rifle
Springfield waypoint my son and friend just brought a 6.5 prc and my son a 7 mm. And I shot them and with factory hornady ammo 2-1/4" grouping at 600 yds it shot great 2200.00 dollars and they do make in a 7 prc I was looking at one of them they use the same barrel as the weatherby rifles use trigger tect triggers and I think it was a ag or McMillan not sure

i also am partial to weatherbys. i usually cant afford mark v's but like the vanguards and they are a howa action. its just less easy to find a threaded/braked barrel.
Vanguards are the same dimensions.

If ordering a pre-fit and there is a 1500 option but not a Vanguard option, order the 1500 option.

Same for stocks.

It's the bolts that are different.

OMR(semi custom), Tikka, Remington Alpha 1. Accuracy.
I have a OMR prefit barrel in 7 prc(jk, it's a 7mag 8T, before the 7 prc came out) and it's very good, .427 moa at 300 yards.
I like what Remington did with the Alpha 1 and I'VE never gotten a Remy that didnt shoot .625 moa or better with handloads. Tikkas's are always accurate. And nowadays McMillan sells stocks for tikka.
OMR now sells whole rifle packages(shouldered barrels, no barrel nut) which you can pick stocks, colors and barrel specs to. This group was shot with my OMR prefit (remage) 7mag 8T 26" barrel. 2919 fps AV, ES is 15.
Lee the owner of OMR is a nice guy, him or his wife answer the phone. It's gonna cost more but worth it and your supporting a family business that has great CS. I am getting another OMR remage barrel this spring, a 33 nosler. Anywhere you see SS in 2nd pic can now be ceracoted any color you want, including the action and break. OMR uses button pulled match SS blanks to make their CF barrels to your specs- lengh, twist and caliber. It took 2.5 months to get my 1st barrel, so leade times are reasonable. I don't understand why we don't read the post from the OP. She clearly stated that she doesn't have the budget for most of what has been recommended and that a Howa or Vanguard is in her budget. I don't think there is a Vanguard in 7prc but Howa makes them. Seekins and Browning Pro xbolt are certainly good rifles but more than twice the cost of a Vanguard or Howa. She seems to know what she wants for cartridge so a good rifle in her general budget would be helpful. That's just me trying to actually respond to her question.

I've yet to outshoot any of the Savage Ultralight rifles. I'm not into beauty contests. They just flatout shoot!
I have a few Savages and I've grown to despise the company overtime but I can't deny that they hard to beat when it comes to out of the box accuracy for the price point. My Model 11 VT shoots at or below 1/2 MOA consistently with FGMM and I can occasionally get some 1/4 MOA targets but they are rare. Factory barrel, factory accutrigger, etc. Only thing I've changed is it now sits in a KRG Bravo but it shot just as well in the bedded factory stock. Can't beat that for $400 out the door.

Huh? What post are you referring to from the OP? I only see #1! She doesn't mention Howa or Vanguard. I don't see any other post from her after the original??

The original post that I read does not mention price or budget.
