I mean that's true for literally anything anyone owns…reminds me of back in college working at a fast food joint…my boss was always so annoyed about the food inspector going over his operation with a fine toothed comb.
"No one has died because they ate here!" He protested.
"Yet". Says the food inspector.
Of course I'm all ears about better options AT COMPETITIVE price points, but find comparing vortex with nightforce or Schmidt and bender or that sort of price point product to be nonsense. That's like finding fault with a Honda civic for not being as capable as a corvette or something.
So, and im being totally sincere here, at equal
Or similar price points to vortex optics, what does it better? Or is this just the same general Kind of snobbery that corvette drivers might look down on Honda civic owners with?
Again, sincere question, I've had good luck with vortex but if there's a competitor aimed at the same market that's superior quality with equivalent price and warranty/customer support I'd love to hear who it is and what your experience was.
My biggest gripe with my vortex is admittedly the clarity in low light. I have a friend with some of the significantly more expensive scopes and honestly in broad daylight I was questioning what made them worth that much more. But at dusk, well let's just say it became obvious.
