I left my Clays gun on my last station at a tournament. Got half way home before my son asked me where my gun was. When I went back my gun was still in the station gun rack. The kid trapping said he figured someone would be back for it eventually.

I have told my Son's that when I die....it's going to be the greatest Easter Egg hunt of their lives....leave no corner,no closet unturned! Check on-top of EVERYTHING and under every bed! It's going to be EPIC...so yes...I'm not sure where a few are!

That reminds me of a fun one. Childhood friends grandpa had open hear surgery, so the family built a single level smaller house next to his kids to move the grandparents to. We all went out to help them move so the old house could be emptied for renovation. We were pulling apart a heavy old bed frame when out popped a pristine 357.
It appeared to have been lodged in a little gap between the headboard and wall. We went downstairs to show it to his grandma who got all flustered. Apparently 50 some odd years before it had been his grampas night stand gun, and when kids came along there had been some spousal conflict about putting it out of sight. At some point we figure it ended up under a pillow and made it through the slats of the havy old headboard and stuck.
They got a pretty good chuckle out of it as the case of the missing 357 had caused a fair bit of marital stress years ago.

One that ticks me off is the mystery of why every other time I do a wash/dry of clothes a sock disappears ? No where to be found. I check inside shirts, etc., gone to the sock hiding place somewhere. I never find them inside anything, behind, side of washer and dryer. No where ! Reminds me of the guy on TV commercial telling his wife the pain is gone. No you don't understand . Gone !
