Do you see the monster whitetail?

You got that right! We have great genetics in michigan but dumb F's running the show and even dumber ones shooting spikes to say they got one. Way to many doe because no one thinks it's cool to shoot one but some how a spike is cause it's a buck. I can't wait till we go to one buck a year. So some of these sac faces think twice about filling a tag opening morning on a 4 point. I do my part and shoot about 20-30 doe a year and they just keep getting more
I'd like to see one buck a year, with antler restrictions. And also be able to use that tag for a doe if you want. Also, the price needs to go down. If our heard was in better shape people would come here and buy out of state permits and they'd make a lot more $. Now, if you want a monster you go out of state.

Here's a blurry picture of one by the railroad overpass by my house. Can't hunt there and I just moved to the state and don't have a tag. Sure was pretty to watch though.

Yep, called in a 4pt Saturday, antlers barely above his ears, not 5min after he left heard a shot on the neighboring property, was most likely him.
Saw more deer this weekend in my Uncles' neighborhood than while hunting.
Or shoot a doe before you can go for a buck.

I hear what some have said about others not wanting does while some of us here would starve without them. I'm fortunate enough to not need the meat as bad as some, but I rarely pass up a good doe. I was fortunate enough to stay put on this 20° morning long enough to get this lovely gal.
