Do I want a 375 RUM?

Who builds an action big enough to handle the cartridge with those 411s seated out? I may want one for my self.

Although I do have a 30-378 that I could build a 378 weatherby

I have both a 338-378 and a 378 Weatherby. The 338-378 is almost new but I have nuked enough hogs to know that it handles everything from 180 Hornady CX to the Hammer Hunter 246 grain bullets. You might want to consider a 338-378 for one mile shooting. Just my crazy notion.

This is really good advice. The RUM case can do pretty well with the 350 SMK as long as you're willing to single load them. The lighter monos might be with considering too.

You can magazine feed the 350gr SMK if you use an Alex Pro MLR gas gun. It can handle 3.850" OAL.

Seating a 350 SMK to 3.850" still has a lot of bullet stuffed in the case. I shot them at 4.100" OAL to get the most out of that bullet in the RUM case.
