I have to have a magnum. I do not know why, but I do.I'm not a magnum guy myself so take that for what it's worth. My vote would be 280AI if you reload. If not, 30-06. If you must have a magnum, 300WM.
It's a disease. Magnumitis.I have to have a magnum. I do not know why, but I do.

My last magnum was a 270 Weatherby. I guess I'm cured!!! However, I am intrigued by the 300 WSM.I have to have a magnum. I do not know why, but I do.
I have semi-retired my 378 Weatherby Mag for a while. I just got a new 340 Weatherby Mag that I have yet to shoot. But it is a magnum. I am 68 years old and I am glad I do not have to put my guns up against my knees to shoot them. My shoulders are fine, it is my knees that are gone!My last magnum was a 270 Weatherby. when I'm done with this 6mmCM (which is an absolute tac driving rifle) I'm gonna build a 300WSM or buy another SAKO 85 on a carbon stock if they don't offer one.My last magnum was a 270 Weatherby. I guess I'm cured!!! However, I am intrigued by the 300 WSM.
