Carnivore diet ...

I am not sure what's going on but it seems that my appetite is suppressed. Below is my lunch (burger patty from my local butcher, a slice steak tomato from my son's garden, and home made bone broth.

I made my bacon (Tajin version). I lost another 5 lbs and 1" off the waist. I have blood work scheduled for next month and am curious about panel changes; hopefully, it is for the better.

Good Luck….I wish you much success!

I could stand to lose a few pounds and an inch or two (around the waste 😜) but am severely lacking discipline! memtb

Good work Ed. You have exercise mixed with the diet?
Thanks! I am mainly doing cardio and toning.
Eww.

A lot of carbs and simple sugar in that carnivore…
😀
I will do better next time. I was going to have a steak, but I was not as hungry. Lunch is in 30 minutes, and I might have homemade bone broth.

I kid.

Depends what you're trying to do. I don't do any of the sugars or fruit, but I do what I call "ketoviore."
Where the fibrous carbs out nets the starch carbs.

Sometimes if I see a little softness in my muscles then I switch back to full carnivore to kill off that extra few % body fat to keep the status quo. Been doing it that way for a long time. Just make sure you adjust saturated fat intake to your activity level. Once you're around or below 12% it's become really hard to maintain and the stricter you have to be, especially after 40.
