A little more digging turned up a couple more.
First is a 150 grain Scirocco fired from a 7mm STW into an elk from about 150 yards. Found this bullet a couple months after the kill when I was pulling some steaks off the grill and it fell onto a plate! LOL
And here is an oldie but a goodie. It's what's left of a 55 grain Ballistic Tip fired from one of my old 22-250s back in the early 90's I believe. I hit a big old whopper of a ground hog in the nose as he was looking at me from a couple hundred yards away. His head was huge and absorbed the hit with little damage showing. Feeling around the back of his head, I felt the solid base of the bullet under the skin and cut it out. Shown next to a skull that my dad saved from one of my kills in 1979 when I was a young varminter. LOL
