.
I saw a thread, a while back, that referenced ANOTHER thread actually,
about a DIFFERENT way to range using your reticle.
(i.e., besides: known size of your target ÷ # of m.o.a. it covers in your scope)
I didn't have time to really read it carefully.
So I drug and saved the link to somewhere.
At least I thought I did. Or maybe I didn't.
Regardless, I can't find it now.
I sorta barely remember that maybe it went something like this:
Maybe it was for SFP scopes?
You established some kind of a benchmark for what your "known" target covers at 100 yards?
And then when you see that target in the field, you you use your magnification ring to zoom your target until it fits your benchmark?
And then read your range from your power setting?
Or SOMETHING like that ? ? ?
Does that sound familiar to anyone?
Know who proposed that method?
Or have a link to a thread or article?
I'd appreciate it if anyone can help.
Help me scratch this itch.
Much obliged,
James
