California Fires - Prayers

No matter how many might feel about the politics in CA, the victims of the horrific event just had their lives absolutely wrecked. They are still Americans and need everyone's help and prayers to survive and rebuild. The reasons are irrelevant, the damage has been done and as an American I believe we need to help those that desperately need it. The aerial videos look like a nuclear event.

Americans help Americans. Please think about families that are like us, but now in desperate times.

Our prayers and whatever help we can offer should be considered.

Please don't turn this into a IBTL posting. We can be better than going down that road.

I was born in Santa Rosa. Dad was in the Air Force, left when I was 1yrs old.
Lived there on my own in 78 - 79.

I am still praying for the folks in North Carolina that are still living in tents months later.
I'm praying that in the future we as a country can do a better job of helping out our own citizens including California.

Well, I believe that Trump will have to step in and help California because the Governor and L.A. Mayor are not capable of doing anything.

This is the 4th huge wildfire in recent years that have been devastating. I own property in Lake County, that's where the Complex fire was, which is the largest wildfire in California history, over 1,000,000 acres burned. It was 2 fires combined that turned into one large fire, the Ranch and the River fires. In total 18,000~ structures were lost, but only 2 structures in Lake County.

I grew up in L.A., and still have many friends down there. I just found out that one in Topanga Canyon was able to not only get out, but their home is still standing, they're very grateful.

In contrast, I have a friend who lost their home in Alta Dena, bought the house only a year ago, 2 children, only married 2 years ago.

I have never seen a fire in L.A. as bad as that, and as much as I hate L.A., I still feel sorry for the victims.

Help us Orange Man! California is on the verge of having all insurance cancelled...
