Are Ti Actions Worth It?

I run them on my rigs and like them. Like stated above the more I remover on things like that I can place elsewhere. I run the Pierce engineering ones and love them. But it really depends on the goal.

I should say for some of my rigs they would not be worth the extra cost. But when building a pack rifle sure. It does the same job as any steel action but less weight. Imagine have a scope that does everything you want but weighs less why not? Same with stocks and everything. So for some no it won't be others sure. I love mine but also don't use them on every build

That's where my thought with it is. I like my nx8, but it's on the heavy side. Plus when you start adding a can, bipod the weight can start adding up.

I bought one but I haven't used it yet barrel is being chambered now.

1/2 lbs less than an anti x
I mean Ti barrels would be pretty sweet! The biggest gain in my opinion is the decrease in weight allows better glass to be ran.
I fully know the weight advantage; I have one in the LM bolt face. But you asked if it was worth the cost, and I gave you my honest opinion.

I like Ti actions myself, built quit a few and just like the balance and feel when the whole rifle is built balanced. I favor Peirce actions in ti myself, my next custom build for myself will be Ti, might try the Pure precision action as it's one I haven't yet.
Personally I would rather have a robust Ti action vs a skeletonized steel, you see a lot of warping in ultra lite steel action too.

Yeah this is for a light weight 6.5 pack gun. Otherwise my other guns I just run tikka actions
