Colorado wolves being relocated.

Interesting that in the article it reads that the wolves have no effect on elk numbers because they only go after calves and sick or injured. Of course we know that this is a lie. Just a quick search and I got this picture of them going after a sick bull elk. 🙄

Don't know how old Old Red is but, there was a reason why the old farmers kept a couple of mules around? we still use them here in Ohio,no wolves here but if they were they would never mess with the mules,Find and old cowboy with some years on him and ask him why they kept mules around.Amazing mother nature has a way of taking care of things that man still shakes his head at and wonders why!;)

I don't know what anyone is surprised, these are the same people that relocated millions of illegals to your home town last three years....supporting predators of all sorts. literally and figuratively, is what they do.
Good Question >Just wonder how many Illegals were eaten by wolves! Maybe move them down on the Rio Grand! Just saying!

Anti's always say that bs. The Elk numbers have dropped in half since introduced. I can attest from last time I was there 2 years ago. Saw one bull. Lots of soon to be Scooby snack buffalo calves.

Ol Red is old enough to know what a donkey or mule will do to a coyote. One rancher buddy of mine keeps a mule with livestock in a rather desolate section for protection. Another rancher buddy of mine lost 6 calves this last spring to coyotes. I have yet to convince him to install a mule in the herd.
I lived in Ohio at one time. The only threat to cattle then, besides wild dog packs, was having them stolen during the beef shortage of 1973. That was before coyotes moved in.
