Lol...I feel like talking about another mans gun cabinet is like talking about his wife!

I love ARs, but I would also want a .300BO in a bolt platform too.

Anyone have one in .300 Blackout? Any aftermarket stuff like triggers and stocks? Minus the mdt chassis. I'm sure it's nice, but I like my rifle looks on the conservative side.

I'm disappointed that the majority of .300 blackout rifles are in AR platforms especially since it started out in the TC Contenders.

Hadn't thought of doing that! Would Accraglas do as well? JB Weld is heavier, but Accraglas is just as stiff.

Nice chassis stocks on yer American rifles guys. My "chassis stock" Ruger is a 6.5 CM Ruger Precision Rifle.;o) And it is even more accurate than my RAP. But I gotta say the RAP's Timmy trigger is nicer (crisper) than the very good RPR factory trigger.

BTW, I added a photo of my RAP with the Boyd's stock to my 1st post. Check it out.

I just shot kine out to 1165 it is amazing for such a cheap gun deadly accurate.under a half minute gun.

I have 2 RAP rifles. 1 in 6.5 creedmoor with a boyds thumbhole and a 6.5 grendel with original stock. I love them both. I am get half moa at 200 yards with both of them with handloads. May be better than that even when I play with seating depth this summer. I would not hesitate to buy one. I am thinking 300 blackout RAR maybe next year since I am reloading for 300 already.

I have a 6.5 CM Ruger American Predator with a Timney trigger and (now) a Boyd's Classic laminated stock. This rifle shoots 1/2" groups 140 gr. Hornaday ELD-M factory ammo. Amazing, to me at least, for a rifle that inexpensive. The Timmy trigger made the most difference in getting those groups.

I realize there are now a lot of "lower priced" very good bolt action rifles like Savage and Mossberg but I like 3 lug bolts and thus the choice of the American.

-> I replaced the Boyd's sling studs with flush cup limited turn swivels so I could shoot off my bench rest W/O catching the stud on it. Magpul Modular Sling is my choice for this stock.

I got 223 predictor with a boids at-one stock, SWFA SS 16 scope and use federal 77 grain match. I put 5 shots in the same hole at 100yrds and 5 shots touching at 200.

I bought one of the early models through Gun Broker 4-5 years ago - .308 Win - but was not impressed with either its fit-n-finish or its accuracy. The trigger really sucked and it was an 1.75" factory ammo shooter even with three of the best 168 gr loadings.

Worth about what I paid for it but not worth the cost of retrofitting the trigger, headspacing, or long term barrel break-in, etc. Sold it for $50 loss with a decent scope to a local doe shooter and he was as happy as I was...

That Rem 700 SPS Tactical is setup perfectly for close range suppressed hunting in .300 BLK. With a 16.5" 1:8 twist heavy barrel and 5/8x24 threads it's suppressor ready. All it needs is a 0 MOA picatinny rail and a 3-15x42 SWFA SS MilQuad.

That rifle is on my "to buy" list, and I hope to have one soon, and go ahead and get my new boss (local Class III FFL) to order it for me, and to also go ahead and get me at least 1 can on the way for my precision rifles (since he holds the FFL, I can take it to his machinegun range to shoot it on the weekends, but he has to take it back until my stamp comes in)... Thinking either Dead Air Sandman Ti, Sandman L, or ThunderBeast Ultra 9. Sandman L is more modular and uses a better QD mounting system than the TB (personal opinion) so I could quickly swap it over to my AR's.

I have a Ruger American predator in 6.5 Creedmoor. Love the gun!! I put a vortex viper on it. I've been working up handloads with great results. All loads are with H 4350....
39.5 gr 4350 es of 37fps 2536 avg vel
5/16" with 5 shots 147grSST

41.2 gr 4350 es of 34fps 2563 avg vel
3/4" with 5 shots 147gr SST

40.7 gr 4350 es of 26 fps avg vel 2625
3/8" with 5 shots 140 gr SST

43.5 gr 4350 es of 25 fps avg vel 2766
7/8" with 5 shots 143 gr ELD

I also have a Ruger Ranch Rifle in 450 bushmaster with a Leopold scout scope with a lighted dot in it. Deadly on running whitetail. Almost cheating. Lol
