Anyone familiar with this...

I just bought 1000 rounds of 7.62 X 51 MM Lake City overun. It's cheap and shoots fine. I save the brass if they are easy to see..I don't hunt them!
I have a Bushmaster and a Adams that are both fun to shoot and they blast things
lots better than my 5.56 rifles! I've killed several deer with the old Bushmaster
I just switch to .308 hunting ammo not the FMJ stuff.

I've got Rise Armament RA-140's in my LWRC M6 and my Spikes lowers... Caught them on sale for $95 each @ DSG Arms (on their email flyer) , and for that price, I have ZERO complaints. Very clean and crisp 3.5 lb. single-stage triggers, and very good construction and finish-quality. Topped them off with some KNS pins, and all is good.

i almost bought a rise armament for 6.5CM build i did, but i saw a video where it didnt fit in the aero M5 lowers. found a great deal on my timney from primary arms, so i got it instead. come to find out the timney didnt fit either. ended up sanding down the inside of the lower and it fit perfectly. it was barely off, maybe 1/32nd of an inch. most of the drop in units are good, i have a POF in my SPR style AR15 that i really like too.

.....just remember these are just guns to me right now...don't know all the parts and pieces by names as you boys do.....

Shop owner texted me that he has a used on consignment Spikes with scope...
And a Timber Creek....
As of now that all I know...
TC.. @ 1100$
Spike @900$
Not sure of the models yet...will have to get there tomorrow and check them out....

26Reload, Having owned a number of different AR's and carried one on duty for years, I agree with others that you get what you pay for. My old duty gun was a S&W. HATED that one. Garbage trigger pull, and poor accuracy. Would not have owned it if it was free. My kid's 10/22 was a more accurate weapon, and had a better trigger. If you get something which may or may not be accurate, you will have wasted your money and it won't be fun to shoot. Save up and get a really good one. It will be worth the wait.
There may be a whole bunch of AR's for sale in Oregon this fall. If our socialist b***h of a governor gets her way.

Do it twice....once for me and the rest of our crew......
It's going to be a struggle. My bird dog may not coexist with the kitty, and he already pees on my rose garden. And then there is the self serve carrot patch. He doesn't even ask first, just brutally yanks them out of the ground, and eats them! I think he's one of those evil NRA members. No respect. None at all. I'll get him into counseling first thing tomorrow. Maybe the counselor will give us a two for one deal! Lord knows I have issues. My parents spanked me once. Still not over that act of barbarism..

Maybe don't plant a pansy-*** rose garden and he won't **** on it... ;) He's telling you something, whether you want to accept it, or not.

Unless the Missus wants it, then of course, tuck your junk and let her have what she wants. Happened to many a brother of mine...

As for me, I'll remain single, and well-armed., and living "the life"... I bend for no human.
