7saum feeding

We have a 7saum in origin medium length with Wyatt's box kit. It doesn't feed worth a dang. Other than it being super challenging to load the magazine, the last cartridge gets jammed. It seems to be tipped up too high and the shoulder hits the feed ramp and actually puts a dent in the case shoulder if too much pressure is applied. It's like the cartridge needs to get pushed forward more but it's at such and angle up the the bullet hits the top of the chamber before leaving the mag and it's a log jam.

Anybody ever see this? It seems like a spring/follower issue since it feeds ok when there is another cartridge pushing up from below.

Any help is appreciated.

Is it a center feed mag box or staggered?
2 or 3 rounds in the magazine?
I had a similar issue with a 270 wsm in a 700 short action. Went to the flat follower with a center feed box (only 2 rounds) and the issue went away.

I tweaked my follower spring and made several adjustments, never did get it to feed right. Switched over to Hawkins Hunter DBM and probably never use a BDL magazine again. Good luck!!

That is the easy out and last resort but detachable box isn't preferred, and it's a $350 conversion.
