I prefer the tried and true standard magnums. They have less bolt thrust, more barrel tenon, more safety, and can develop the velocity with less chamber pressure. I especially like the idea of belt spacing, for safety and fireforming, prior to headspacing on the shoulder with reloads. What's not to like?
And, it seems the fat mags have to run about 5% more pressure, to keep up with the standard mags. Yet there are those that would like to speak of equality.
Magnums should be able to fire the heaviest bullets, without running into magazine fit problems.
