280AI or 7mm Rem Mag

I'm looking at either of these 2 calibers. It which ever I choose will be for deer and elk in Colorado. Any input on why I should one or the other is greatly appreciated.

They are both the same caliber, just different cartridges.

I'd choose the 280 ackley, less recoil and close to same velocity with the right powder.
