I had the gunsmith check my rifle/barrel twist on my Sendero 7mm STWs. He said that both of them were one in 9 1/4.
I was just wondering what they were like in reference to temperature stability. That's my current focus.
Any ideas?
I have new7mm STW Stiller Predator action, Mcmillan A5 stock, Krieger 27" barrel :11 twist, Jewell trigger, Scope Zeiss Diavary 6-24x72.

P3 Monopod from CTK and Sinclair F class bipod when shooting on paper
Using Remington brass. Nosler 120 BT, powder VV N165 80gn, OAL 94mm, Fed 215.

Usually wideners, but hi-tech, pats, and a few others will sell you a keg for $100 or less shipped stateside. I had i5010 for a while, and it was great but slightly bulky(better in the 7 and 30 rum) and I have wc872 at present. I use mostly rl22 or rl25, but with 160 or 175's I go to slower powder. Thanks Lefty.
Where do get the 50BMG powder you speak of? I am going to buy a Barrett 50 BMG at some point but I thought I'd try that powder in my 7stw for now.
Thanks,
Ed
