RL33 is another winner with the 160's and heavier bullets.7828 has been a let down for me bought enough to last a while and have yet to find a good load with it. I had way better results with imr 8133. Retumbo or h1000 is on the docket next. Running low on 168's now is the issue.
RL26 running the same pressures will give you 100-150fps gain in velocity. RL33 is a little slower generally, somewhere between H1000 but more consistent for me than RL33, just not quite as easy to find a good load with as H1000 which is my single go to for everything from the .300wm on up in the belted magnums.Sure as hell works in mine.
Probably what I'll start with, although only have 1lb + some left
I have 6lbs of rl26
This old thread will probably be helpful.Sure as hell works in mine.

Yep heard all about it, I'll take H1000 over it hands down That aint you is it Mud ???
Oh no you didnt!
I have as about to ask "is that you Mudrunner"???
You reckon he still waiting to sell that truck so he can get some funds to buy something?Sorry...I got nostalgic and couldn't resist
100%!!You reckon he still waiting to sell that truck so he can get some funds to buy something?
Your load will most likely end up around 80 gr with either one of those powdersI haven't set up my reloading bench yet. And since I finally got my big green B--tch back from rose, I have something to work on!!! Love retumbo and H1000. Both work well for the bigger ones. I had a STW load for both but since lost my book. I'll work on this soon
