Hornady just released the 7mm PRC factory ammunition pushing the 180 gr eld match at 3000 fps. I'm thinking I might have to rebarrel one of my 300's in that. Will be interesting to see how it does. The 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC have already proven themselves as great cartridges. Paired with a good bullet the 7mm PRC looks like a flat shooting beast.

The claim was 3000 from 24 inch barrel a little off. But I'm sure it will speed up once the barrel is broke in hopefully

Ouch! They better hope it speeds up. That's 7saum/280ai speeds with a lot less powder.

No I just did the first 8 and cleaned after each per the benchmark suggestion. I still have to shoot 4 3-5 shot groups. Cleaning after each to complete break in.
