As far as I can see, the PRC's fill a niche for hunters that don't build their own, reload their own. I will have some fun here and stay with my .270TH that will easily shoot the 170EOL at 3100 fps with RL26. Do the math, what will 7MM PRC do "far" better with 175ELDX?

6.5 creed is selling at best guess...2-3000 to 1 in our store....of either of the PRCs...similar to 6.8 Western...I brought in 20 boxes 4 months ago...sold 5 to one customer...the other 15 are collecting dust!

Is there factory ammo available? If so how long....I believe that's what helped kill the other 2...no factory ammo no brass....? And of course...no powder no primers hasn't helped! Now X number of millions of primers will be consumed to launch ONE NEW OFFERING...in hopes that they will sell...Great timing!

I've got a Creed and its waiting for another new match barrel.
I've got a 6.5 PRC and I like it. Perfect for longish whitetail hunting.
I don't need a 300 PRC because I already have a 30 Nosler.
I'm waiting for my new 7 PRC just "because". I don't need one and it won't do anything my 7WSM is currently capable of, but I just like to try new things. The 7 PRC will catch on but won't compare to the 6.5 PRC in popularity, IMO.

Kill the other two? Trust me, they are both alive and well. No brass available? There's plenty out there. Yes they're very common cartridges now so the demand is high but production is catching up. Hornady has killed it with these cartridges and the 7prc will be no exception. I will probably have a 7 prc barrel spun up once my saum barrel is dead but that'll be a couple years so components should be available by then.

Hasn't worn off on the other two or the creeds. Fact is Hornady is really good a designing cartridge cases for people that like to shoot long range. Anybody that doesn't like that is just stuck in there old ways. Remember these cartridges are designed to be effective with saami specs and long range sleek projectiles. They're not stuck in the old ways of doing things and some just don't like that.

I know this is a brand new cartridge, but has anyone done much testing between 22" and 24" barrels? According to the data, I could get the energy I'm looking for to 600yds easily out of a 22" barrel. I'm concerned that the short barrel wont have enough length to get full consistent powder burn.

I'm gonna shoot my 7PRC Monday hopefully with the ELD-X factory loads. I'll have the Labradar set up and post some numbers out of a 24" barrel.

You'll have more than enough to 600 yards. Lot of guys building 20".

Wife's barrel showed up yesterday. Got lucky and scored a #4 carbon Bart barrel for her. It will go to the smith in a couple weeks when we get back from elk hunting. I'm very interested to see what it does. I have a 7 max and absolutely love it as does she so we will see what she thinks about the 7 prc.

I watched their YouTube video looks like their rifles hammer. I noticed that the guy shooting in the video shot the 24 inch and 20 inch gun better than the 22. Prolly nothing more than those rifles fit that shooter better but sure made me want a 20 inch gun. I'm excited to see some real world speeds.

Doesn't mean it won't dominate sells. They are the ones making the money and understand the market. They are simply positioning themselves at the top and will wash away other calibers like they have been doing. Like that 308 of yours. Ask yourself what are the top selling cartridges in the last 5 years? If they are at the top, they will take the market share and not worry about the other depleting cartridges.
