7mm prc clickers

Has anyone had problems with clickers using ADG or Peterson brass?

Very common problem
Do some research and you will find more threads like these.

There are a couple solutions, one being use a AW prc reamer to open up the .200 line on a saami chamber.

I have a AW reamer kit I rent out that fixes this. You can ream it out by hand at home pretty easily. Do some research and let me know if you need the kit. Hornady could have saved us all the trouble and adjusted the SAAMI specs for it, but it doesn't affect factory ammo folks so no need to.

Interested, but can't figure how to PM. Lol

I have a rifle that was chambered with a 7PRC-AW reamer. I'm using Peterson brass and I still get clickers with full loads. Run a 180gr bullet up to 3,000fps and I'll get clickers. Run them at 2,900fps and they go away.

I'm running 180gr bullet with ADG brass. 3rd firing @ 2948. 26" barrel. No pressure at all. (Getting great accuracy).
Thought I'd try this. If it works, great! If not, oh well.

Question:

new brass dimension at the .200 line

Fired brass dimension at the .200 line

Your sized brass dimension at the .200 line

You should be measurinig with a Micrometer that measures to the 0.0001 place

There are relationships between these different measurments that are critical to know.
