I can't find any current data after searching. All of the data is pretty old.
Shooting 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tips from a 24", 9 twist barrel.
I have Varget and H4350 to use as powder.
Any recommendations?

I ran charge weights up in QL for both powders to just before max pressure (see attached). Since QL is only a mathematical prediction tool, I use it to find a jumping off point from which I back down 7-10% for a starting load.

It would appear that Varget will be your best bet as max pressure and velocity can be reached without a compressed load. On the other hand, H4350 requires a 9% compressed load. FYI, QL data used presets of 2.8" COAL and 55 grains of H2O capacity.

I did find Varget data for the 150 BT on Nosler's web site (attached).

When I had my last 24" bbl 7-08 i used the 150 eldx with RL17 at 2890 fps and man was that thing acccurate.
Yep,. the 7mm-08 is, a REAL Sleeper, "Killer" Cartridge with that, Load,.. on Elk !
My son had great results too with, the 150 ELD-X and a Max chg. of, RL-17 powder, for a 247 yard shot on, a Nice sized, 5 x 6 Idaho Bull.
Great Penetration and a very NICE, Mushroom from, a 22.4" Tikka Barrel !
