7mm-08 reloading data

I'm in the process of having a 7mm-08 built. APR Hunter Action, 20" Proof Carbon Barrel, AG Composites Alpine Hunter Stock. I'm looking for recommended loads for a 20" barrel with a 140 or 150 grain bullet.
I've had very good results with H414 and Varget with both various 120gr and 140gr bullets. Recently I've been trying CFE223, seems to give good groups and I'm getting about 120 more FPS than with other powders.
H414 49gr w/120gr bullets
H414 47gr w/139&140gr bullets
CFE223 48gr w/120gr bullets avg 3065fps
Good luck, the 7-08 is a great cartridge
Take Care, Rick

Using 41.0gr of IMR-4064 with the 139gr SST and 140gr Ballistic Tip/Ballistic Silver Tips I'm at and avg 2,815 fps on my 24" Rem 700, avg groups at 100 yds are 0.54" and 0.61". I keep my max range at 500 yards with them when they are still going above 1,800 fps. With the 120gr Ballistic Tips I use 42.5 of the same IMR-4064 and I max at the same distance.

I use Federal Match GM210M primers and for brass I use Remington, Winchester and Winchester Nickel plated brass, and no variations really with the different brass. When out hunting I use the nickel plated for better feeding.

The heavier bullets I use them on my 7mm Rem Mag. Hope this helps.

Beat regards

Tough to beat RL 17 H4350 or imr4350 in the bullet weight in OP's inquiry.

I currently use Varget out of a 21" barrel. RL15 and RL17 also worked well. I prefer the Varget for temperature stability, if that's a concern.

For deer I use 120-135 grain bullets, though I use monolithics.
