7 Mag: 160-168 at 3100 with Retumbo/215 primers, 26" barrel
175g at 3030-3050 with R#26, cci 250 or Fed 215
180g Berger vld hunting "
150-154g at 3250 with R#25, Win mag primer a must, tiny groups, 3250 fps on 26", 9fps SD
180g Hornady ELDM at 2850 with R22, cci 250. A .796 BC from the 180g ELDM does impress! This
Bullet performs best from 2750-2900...something you have to see to believe!
OP did not mention the std 280, but should be thrown in for consideration. A load in the Nosler manual #4 is real world in my experience with 24" Remington 700's. 160g bullet, IMR 7828, fed 210 a must for tiny groups, velocity is 2930 fps! If you want to throw in a 180g ELDM with R#17 with a fed 215, you are in the realm of 2800 fps with just a smidgeon of powder. Velocity arriving on target is something to remember.
