I was just answering his question. That's a fast 6.5 PRC. What is your load for that. Bullet, powder, barrel length?

Probably would go with it myself nowadays as it is everywhere.
I get between 250 and 280 fps more from most every comparably efficient load, even factory 147s. Both the 6.5 PRC and creed barrels are 18.5 inches. PRC is a bartlein and creed is a proof

Okay let's be honest! The 6.5 Creedmoor is the most revolutionary cartridge developed in our lifetime. It's very efficient and inherently accurate. The design makes small improvements in many areas which add up. It's not a 1k yard elk cartridge but supremely effective within its effective range… bullet choice and impact velocity. The 6.5 CM has made it possible for many shooters to make 1k+ yard shots (steel/paper) relatively easy without major recoil and the ability to spot hits. This cartridge is basically an improved .308 Win. One of the problems is shooters get confidant in making those long shots comfortably on paper then try and shoot animals at distances beyond its effective range. Those shooters aren't taking into account the lack of energy (wallop) to take down selected game at extended ranges. Another benefit is there are more factory selections of ammo than any other! Furthermore, this cartridge has opened the eyes of many in developing heavy for caliber cartridges with faster twist barrels. Holy smokes, take a look at some of the superb cartridges such as the 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, and the new king of long range hunting… the 7mm PRC. Don't be a hater, everyone should own at least one rifle chambered in the almighty 6.5 Creedmoor!
I would as soon use a sling shot as to own a needmoor 🤣. Although I do have one thing in my assortment of stuff that says Creedmoor. The base holder for an LE Wilson trimmer

Wax poetic about a .270? Ok, no problem. Perhaps a civil discussion will ensure about the pros and cons of said cartridge. No memes, no mention of cool aid.

Make a few points about why the CM is a good cartridge? You better have a flame suit, it's about to get heated 😂

It is a hilariously polarizing topic.

A .270, a .270, my kingdom for a .270.

The 6.5 CM is easy on the eye.

My opinion is only that. And part of that opinion is no matter what you think of the hype, mystical powers, or the data, I believe the development of this cartridge and it's instantaneous following caused a firestorm in the world of cartridge development which we all can appreciate. Bringing the expansive development of a world of new cartridges of which I have never seen in my lifetime. For this I am grateful. Thank you to all the lovers and haters of the Creedmoor. Because of myself and you all we had a hand in making this happen. I love this forum and value all your opinions. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately VERY far. We allow people to ID as cats, males, females, and recently watched a video about people who ID as quadriplegic and paraplegic in wheelchair with nothing wrong and Dr signing off on it. We are pretty much in the bottom of the barrel

Sodom and Gomorrah had nothing on present day America! 🤬☹️ memtb
